Parking Access Control System Workflow
This parking access control system uses advanced license plate recognition (LPR) technology to manage vehicle entry and exit automatically. Upon entering, the LPR camera identifies the vehicle’s plate number, and once recognized, the barrier gate opens automatically. Upon exit, the system performs a second recognition—monthly subscribers are granted automatic access, while temporary users are prompted to complete payment before the gate lifts.
The system can be optionally equipped with a ticket dispenser, automatic payment station, central management platform, entry/exit terminals, and CCTV monitoring, offering a flexible and fully unattended parking solution for commercial complexes, office buildings, and residential communities.
ALPR workflow
Process description:
Entry Process: When a vehicle approaches the entrance, the license plate recognition (LPR) camera is triggered by a ground loop or vehicle detection sensor. It captures the front license plate image and transmits it to the recognition software. The system analyzes the image, identifies the license plate number, and stores the result in the database. If the recognition is successful, the software returns a command to the gate system, which automatically raises the barrier to allow entry.
Exit Process: As the vehicle moves toward the exit, the LPR camera is activated again to capture the license plate. The image is processed by the software and matched against the database records stored during entry. If the plate matches and any required payment is completed, the system sends a signal to open the barrier, enabling a smooth and automated exit.
